Lorreine Borrayo, RN - Director of Nursing
Lorreine Borrayo was born and raised in Santa Barbara. She received an Associates degree in Science from Santa
Barbara City College, graduated from the LVN program in 1991, and then graduated from the RN program in 1994.
Lorreine's extensive nursing experience began at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital were she worked in the neuro-surgery
department as a medical-surgical nurse. She then worked as a float and staff relief nurse for various floors at Santa
Barbara Cottage Hospital. Lorreine also spent several years working in the CCU and ICU. Concurrent with her experience
at Cottage Hospital, Lorreine worked at St. Francis Hospital on the medical-surgical floor where she gained experience
as a circulating, pre-op and post-op nurse. Prior to joining Carrillo Surgery Center, Lorreine worked for Meditech
Health Services and performed ambulance transport.
At Carrillo Surgery Center, Lorreine serves as both a circulating nurse and a pre-op/post-op nurse. Among numerous other
responsibilities Lorreine helps with orchestrating the scheduling and flow of patients at Carrillo Surgery Center. When
she is not at work, Lorreine dedicates her time to her two adorable boys.
Cesar Vallejo - Surgical Technologist/Materials Manager
Cesar is young yet has a hard working philosophy which adds tremendous value to the Carrillo Surgery Center team.
His expertise already covers 6 years of OR experience. He has assisted numerous surgeons in a broad range of surgical
specialties including: orthopedic, general, and plastic surgery, as well as pain management procedures.
